FA Cup: Anichebe Benched As West Brom Edge Peterborough On Penalties

West Bromwich Albion have qualified for the fifth round of the FA Cup after defeating League One side Peterborough 4-3 in penalty shootout in their replay on Wednesday.

Victor Anichebe was an unused substitute in the encounter.

Ben Forster was the hero for West Brom as he made two saves, to send the Baggies into the round of 16.

Goals from Jon Taylor for Peterborough and Darren Fletcher for West Brom saw both sides tied at 1-1 in regulation time.

West Brom will now face Reading in the fifth round of the competition.

In another FA Cup replay, West Ham, playing at home, beat Liverpool 2-1 in extra-time on Tuesday.

Former Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna scored deep in extra-time to give the Hammers the win.
